Learn to deal with it

Last summer, I met Prof. Charles Xavier. He taught me a very important lesson.

We can't change the situation/people around us, all we have to do is to learn to deal with them instead.

Thank you Professor X, we'll meet again.

Thanksgiving 2012

I want to thank my friendship family for bringing me to their son's place. I made some new friends there! =D

The Courtyard
We headed to Winema beach before the dinner.

Josh by the beach!

It's very nice to see everybody smiling on that day. We threw frisbee and football along the way.

It was very nice seeing the family so happy together

We climbed up a huge rock and enjoyed the view.

Spectacular!
In the journey, we picked up shells. Rachel and me found this shell and we put them together. She gave me lots of nice shells as well.

I think it is prettier than the complete shell as they were once parted and finally got back together.
Oh yea, these are my new friends. We watched football and played Rock Band together.

J, R, C, G
We are suppose to have dinner at 5.30pm but the turkey was not ready until an hour later. We were all starving.

This is my seat. Rachel designed the card and wrote my name on it. It was lovely.

I forgot to take the name card with me. =(
This is our meal! It was awesome. We have mashed potato, stuffing, ham, green beans, baked potato with walnut, jello and the turkey who was late! We had pumpkin pie after the dinner.

This is my lunch for the next day, the same meal as the thanksgiving dinner.

It was a wonderful day at the wonderful beach with wonderful people. I miss my new friends.

Last but not least, look what did I pick up by the beach?

Miss C. said it was a fat liver. I still don't get that
A heart shaped rock!

Oh yea, K. gave me a complete sand dollar too. It was very pretty!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Bun

I was strolling around Safeway today because I miss my traveling days.

I used to buy 3 for $1 bread in Safeway because it's cheap and good.

I wanted to eat them again but I don't feel like having three. I checked my wallet to see if I have coins for one and I do! I grabbed the bread and an old lady grabbed me.

She wanted to gave me $20 because she thought I'm hungry and I don't have money to buy food. I did not take her money of course, because mommy and daddy gave me enough money for food. And I got money from my work too!

It's sad that the Romanian old lady is moving to California soon. Her act of kindness brighten up my day. =)

Josh's Ideal Thanksgiving Dinner

My ideal thanksgiving dinner menu would contain Reese's Puff with milk as my entree, M&M as my dessert and hot chocolate as my drink.

I don't need appetizer, because they are so appetizing. =D

El Primo

My friend Kinsey was not in a very good mood that day, so we decided to eat out. We went to a Mexican Restaurant, El Primo (closest restaurant) because it is very cold that night.

The food was not bad. I think Amanda enjoyed her dinner a lot because I sat next to her.

It was a nice and fun dinner.

Paycheck

Whee, I got my first paycheck of my life. =D

It's quite heavy. Hehe. However, I used it to clear my debt though. =(

Not many kids get paycheck you know!

p/s: Honorarium from side job and paycheck from working with dad don't count. =D

Vietnamese Dinner

Today, my friend Houng invited me and my naughty friends to dinner at her apartment.

We helped her to clean and cut the vegetables.

I was a little bit tired, that's why the photo looked blurry. =)

I would want to thank her for the wonderful food and thank my friend for the wonderful dinner because my parents taught me so.

p/s: Shin is trying to snatch my girlfriend away and Alex is mean to me. =(

Josh's First Fall

 It's fall time!

My parents and teachers always told me that it is called "Autumn" but people here call it Fall.

My parents and teachers have never really experienced Fall though, but now I understand why people here call it that way.

During this season, the leaves change color...

I like fire hydrant!

some red, some yellow...

 while some still remain green.

It is Fall because the leaves fall.

I like Fall because it is beautiful!

I want to lie down on the colored leaves but mommy always said that it's dirty.

They freaked me out at first. They were just leaves.

There also might be worms on the ground that are very happy to bite me.

Therefore, I took a walk around my school.

And I spent my afternoon in my little secret world called Narnia.

Thank you Daddy, Mommy, Ah Jeh & Ah Neh for sending me here.

Happy Fall everyone!
